If you Like to Run at NIGHT, Then THIS is the Half Marathon for YOU

On Friday NIGHT August 23rd 2013, runners will hit the streets for the Annual Moonlight Half Marathon!


Instead of running in the heat of mid-morning, ever wanted to run a half marathon race in the middle of the night, under a full moon? You can get your chance at the sixth annual running of Utah's Moonlight Half Marathon, which is run in the thick of summer but at night, so the air should be cooled off by the time runners begin their race.

The thing that makes this race different is that this is a race to see who can cross the finish line closest to midnight without crossing it too early. There will be no timing devices allowed. You start when you think it will be the right time so you can cross the finish line at midnight.

Totals are in for UTAH!  Halfmarathonsearch.com analyzed, searched and compared all half marathon directories in the United States for the state of Utah, and Utah grew in 2012 to a total of 94 half marathons!  This now puts Utah in the top 5 states for total number of half marathons, with California and Florida as the #1 and #2 total half marathons in the United States.
